Responsibilities & Requirements

Note: This job description is a guide – on a day-to-day basis, duties will be determined and assigned as business needs dictate.

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The production operator receives instruction and direction from the shift lead. The production operator reports directly to the production manager.


EDUCATION AND TRAINING
•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•    Effective verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to read and write in English


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
•    Ability to stand for 8 hours


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Basic computer skills
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Windows


RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Operate production machinery and make minor adjustments and repairs
•    Operate PC’s with proprietary software
•    Complete assignments effectively individually and/or in a team environment
•    Perform audit control of job information
•    Provide quality assurance for product being produced, including visual

      inspection and number sequencing
•    Complete paperwork detailing measurements of daily productivity
•    Maintain a clean and organized work environment
